Frequently asked questions
Answers to common questions about coaching, online sessions and working together.
What is coaching, and how can it help me?
Coaching is a partnership that gives you space to explore your thoughts, feelings, needs and goals.
Through conversation, questions and reflection, we explore your current situation, what matters to you and the possibilities available to you.
Coaching can help you gain clarity, strengthen your confidence and self-trust, recognise patterns that may no longer serve you and identify practical steps towards the changes you want to make.
I won't tell you what to do or make decisions for you. My role is to support you in finding your own answers.
How is coaching different from psychotherapy?
Coaching and psychotherapy are different forms of support.
Coaching focuses on personal development, recognising your possibilities, making decisions and creating change in the present and future.
Psychotherapy may address mental health, emotional difficulties, trauma and psychological conditions that require professional therapeutic support.
Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychological counselling or medical treatment.
Do I need to have a clear goal before starting coaching?
Not at all.
You might know exactly what you'd like to work on, or you might simply feel that something in your life is no longer how you'd like it to be.
Both are perfectly valid starting points.
Through coaching, we can explore what's behind that feeling, what matters most to you right now and the direction you'd like to take.
Is coaching only for women who have recently moved abroad?
No. My coaching is for women living abroad, whether you moved a few months ago or many years ago.
Questions of identity, belonging, relationships and life transitions don't necessarily arise immediately after a move. Sometimes they emerge only once life in your new country has settled into a routine.
Which languages can we work in?
Coaching sessions are available in Croatian, English, German and Turkish.
You can choose the language in which you feel most comfortable and can express your thoughts and feelings most naturally.
How are coaching sessions held?
All coaching sessions take place online via video call.
Each session lasts 60 minutes, and appointments are arranged according to availability.
You'll need a quiet space where you can speak freely and a stable internet connection.
How do I know which coaching package is right for me?
That depends on what you'd like to explore and how much space you want to give to your development.
Clarity includes three sessions and may be a good choice if you want to focus on a particular question or decision.
Thrive includes six sessions, allowing more room to explore different aspects of your situation.
Flourish includes twelve sessions and is designed for women who want a longer-term coaching process.
During our free chemistry call, we can discuss your needs so you can choose the package that feels right for you.
What if I’m not sure coaching is right for me?
That's exactly why I offer a free 30-minute chemistry call.
It's a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what's on your mind and see whether coaching is the right kind of support for you.
There's no obligation to continue working together.
Are our conversations confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality and mutual trust are at the heart of my coaching approach.
Our conversations are treated confidentially in accordance with the coaching agreement, applicable legal obligations and ICF ethical standards.
Am I guaranteed to achieve the results I want?
Coaching can be a powerful form of support for personal development, but no particular outcome can be guaranteed in advance.
Your progress depends on several factors, including your willingness to explore, make decisions and apply your insights in everyday life.
My role is to provide a high-quality coaching process. You decide what actions to take and at what pace.
If this resonates with you, we can explore what matters most to you in a free 30-minute chemistry call.
